And if you’re looking to enroll in school - to either get that degree or simply to learn a new craft - the University of Louisiana in Lafayette offers free tuition to students over 55 and a discount of 50 percent off all textbooks. You can also enroll at the New Iberia campus of South Louisiana Community College or the Teche area campus of the Louisiana Technical College.
